The human hand is a complex structure of bones, muscles, ligaments and nerves designed to perform a variety of tasks such as opening a jar, threading a needle and working with tools. Injury to even the smallest part of your hand can hinder the overall function of your hand, sometimes permanently. About 75 percent of industrial accidents resulting in a partial or complete disability involve one or both hands. However, many situations exist where a standard glove just doesn’t do the job. In scenarios where the potential for severe impact is high, such as hammering nails, additional protection is required. The HammerGuard is an armor reinforced glove designed to protect your hand in these situations. The armor plating on the HammerGuard protects the index finger, forehand and thumb while still providing the freedom of movement necessary to pick up nails and other tools. |
